Why I am Standing for Election
I have not stood for public office before. However, I have an extensive professional background, including working closely with the Police in a number of different roles and I have gained a deep understanding of many of the challenges encountered by our Police today. I have knowledge, skills, and experience that equip me to do this job well. I have a deep commitment to make a positive difference to the lives of people in Hampshire and the IOW.
I believe in Labour’s core values of:
- Social Justice and Equality;
- Promoting strong communities with strong values;
- That people should be recognised and rewarded for hard work;
- That rights should be protected, but matched by responsibilities;
- The protection of all people in our communities is paramount.
If elected on 6th May, I promise to use that knowledge and experience to help provide our police with the support they need to reduce crime, and to hold them to account on behalf of all our community.
I will work hard to make Hampshire and the Isle of Wight a safer and better place for us all.
Vote for Tony Bunday the Labour and Co-operative Party Candidate for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police and Crime Commissioner.
Promoted by Barry Jones, on behalf of Tony Bunday, both at Unit 017, Solent Business Centre, Millbrook Road West, Southampton, SO15 0HW.
