Hope and Pride in Winchester

Hope and Pride were in Winchester together last Saturday!!

(Winchester and Chandler's Ford CLP members sending our messages of Hope at Hampshire Pride)

To mark Hampshire Pride, on Saturday 24th February, we held a very successful street stall by The Buttercross. We gave the Pride marchers cheers and thumbs up as they came by to signal our support, and spoke with passersby about Labour's plans for the future!

Many people took leaflets about the NHS and 20 removed their gloves long enough in the cold to sign a petition against threats to our maternity and A&E units.

We gained more Facebook followers, some took away a copy of our newsletter and others were glad to speak to their candidate for the upcoming Local Elections. A lady even came by from the Cathedral to bless our stall!

Thanks to all who came along to help show Labour is active in Winchester.
