Silver Hill Affordable Homes Fight Continues

Labour have been standing up for local residents in the fight to ensure that the Silver Hill development is what Winchester was promised. As part of a broad alliance, including a rebel Tory councillor, we have voiced our opposition to any irresponsible changes.

The Council and its developer have now performed a u-turn and have agreed to put back into the scheme 100 affordable homes and the bus station. We promise to keep pressing to make sure that Silver Hill meets the needs of everyone in our city.
