UNISON’s Submission to the Government’s Comprehensive Spending Review
UNISON has made a submission to the Government’s comprehensive spending review. It presents their demands for investment in public services.
The submission calls for:
- funding to support the current NHS £2k pay claim;
- social care workers to receive at least the real living wage in all parts of the UK;
- resources to close the local government funding gap and proper levels of funding for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Please send an e-mail to Winchester MP Steve Brine, who has a large NHS hospital in his constituency, asking him to support a fair wage for NHS staff.
